Wedelia (Sphagneticola trilobata)

Wedelia is a robust, rapidly spreading, evergreen perennial ground cover that forms a dense, thick, creeping mat of dark-green, deeply lobed leaves. It produces a continuous, cheerful display of small, bright golden-yellow, daisy-like flowers virtually year-round. It is one of the toughest and most aggressive ground covers available, capable of stabilizing steep banks, preventing soil erosion, and smothering weeds across large, difficult areas. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and is highly tolerant of poor soils, drought, and coastal conditions.
