Rose Moss, or Portulaca, is a spectacular, sun-loving, succulent ground cover that thrives in the hottest, driest, and most challenging garden spots. It features low, trailing, fleshy stems and needle-like leaves, but its glory is its continuous, dazzling display of large, brilliantly coloured, rose-like flowers in neon shades of pink, yellow, orange, red, and white.
