Sweet Alyssum (Lobularia maritima) is a delightful, low-growing, spreading annual or short-lived perennial that forms a dense, carpet-like mat completely smothered in thousands of tiny, honey-scented, star-shaped flowers in pure white, soft pink, or purple.
