Adenium obesum (Desert Rose)

The Desert Rose (Adenium obesum) is one of the most spectacular and exotic flowering succulents in cultivation. It develops a swollen, sculptural, bonsai-like caudex (trunk base) that stores water, making it extraordinarily drought-tolerant. From this remarkable base emerge clusters of glossy leaves and an abundance of large, funnel-shaped flowers in vivid shades of deep pink, red, white, and bicolour. It thrives in full sun and hot, dry conditions with very little water. A premium, long-lived ornamental plant for sunny patios, rock gardens, and statement container displays.
