Wandering Jew (Tradescantia zebrina)

Wandering Jew, or Inch Plant (Tradescantia zebrina), is an incredibly fast-growing, cascading, evergreen trailing plant renowned for its spectacular, vividly striped foliage. The pointed leaves feature striking bands of metallic silver and dark green on top, with a brilliant, rich magenta-purple underside that provides constant flashes of bold colour. It roots easily wherever its stems touch soil, rapidly forming a dense, colourful, weed-smothering ground cover. Superb for shaded or partially shaded areas, as well as cascading boldly from hanging baskets and large pots.
